With extensive experience in commercial and residential design, Clay Co. creates spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional, and as sustainable as they are relevant. These values come to life through a collaborative design process that uses form, material, and a functional approach. Our passion is to transform spaces into exceptional places of productivity, play, and rest.
Amanda Gagne
RESIDENTIAL DESIGN DIRECTOR
Amanda grew up in a creative family and has been advising people on design her entire life! She has over 15 years of creative experience in interior design, floral and event design, and retail merchandising. Amanda worked as Design Principal of Amanda Gagne Design and joined Erin Ferry to create Clay Company Interiors in 2022, which created a dynamic partnership in residential and commercial spaces alike. Amanda’s approach is a strong collaboration between form and function, always considering the clients’ needs and the architecture of the space, then layering in the finishes to create a cohesive palette that reflects her clients’ personal aesthetic. In her down time, Amanda can be found at a casual dinner with friends, hunting for treasures at a flea market, or enjoying time at the beach with her husband and three kids.
Erin Ferry
COMMERCIAL DESIGN DIRECTOR
Erin’s design journey began at Cal State Long Beach where she received her BFA in Interior Architecture. While in school, she began her professional career at a commercial design firm in Pasadena, CA, where she established her expertise in space planning, materials, and design development. In 2007, she joined Gensler, Newport Beach, leading projects for national and international companies. Since 2012, Erin worked as Design Principal of Ferry Interiors and joined Amanda to launch Clay Company Interiors in 2022. Erin is passionate about bringing up the next generation of designers as a professor at CSULB’s Interior Architecture program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, dancing, painting, and the great outdoors.
